There are many ways to keep our Veggies and Fruits safe from bacteria and pollution. We can follow government guidelines and a proper way to manage food, Veggies and Fruits.
FSSAI Guidelines (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India)
1) Wash your hands after and before coming in contact with Vegetables and Fruits.
2) Carry a cotton or cloth made carry bag to carry Veggies and Fruits; because to use polythene bags might be somehow dangerous as it has lots of touches on it. (Also safe for Environment, so please carry a cotton bag)
3) Wash that Cotton carry bag nicely, and do this every time. You should keep 2 or 3 cloth made carry bags at your home, so that you can use it without any hesitation.
Washing Procedure
To wash veggies and fruits with cozy water (Warm Water), is a simple way. Nowadays you should scrub veggies in a right way as they got completely clean and ready to use. (No matter if you want to store them, but to make it ready to use will minimize the chances of infection)
Cold Mess or Cold Storing
To keep Chopped or cooked veggies fresh and safe, always keep it in your Refrigerator; Vegetables may get spoiled too soon in rainy season if stored in open area.
Normally to keep it at 40°F (4°C) is standard temperature.
--> Thus, this is the only way to keep our Veggies and Fruits safe from infection.
Be Safe, Wear Mask, Wash Hands, Stay Home.
