The change in Education Policy was on High Demand. After several meetings, a lot of plans, lofty ideas and with support of Ministry of Human Resources, the new Educational Policy has been approved; and the "Education" will be an essence of MHRD

New Education Policy | 2020 

The Ministry of Human Resource and Development is now Ministry of Education; as Union Cabinet renamed this on Wednesday, 28 July, 2020. 

Key Ministers : Mr. Prakash Javdekar and Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal

According to Union Minister, Mr. Prakash Javdekar, the country hasn't changed its Education Policy for 34 Years. In this Modern and Neoteric time, to improve and change in policy is necessary. Now, the Government's focus is on Education and Learning. Indian youth, students and educators were demanding a new education policy since a long time. 

According to Ministers, for all Universities there will be appropriate norms. All type of universities whether it is private, state or national, Universities will have to follow and reconstruct their institutions. This thing is necessary for "Quality", Ministers said. 

New Education Policy  - Key Features

1) Specific standards for School Education.

2) Board Exams will now take tests of actual knowledge instead of testing memory power. 

3) New framework for Students, Teachers and Adult Education. 

4) 5+3+3+4 Curricular

5) Every Students have to study in their respective Mother tongues Medium till Standard 5th.  

6) e-sources in their respective mediums.

7) Special Education Zones (SEZ)

8) NMLN Mission (National Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) 

9) Teacher Recruitments plan and Teacher Education Policy

10) UG Studies for 3 to 4 years. 

11) PG Studies for 1 to 2 years. 

12) M.Phil. will be out of course now (Discontinued)

13) 5 years of Bachelors or Masters integrated studies. 

14) New Assessment for All type of Exams

15) Higher goals to be reach in 2030

16) Teachers should be ready and we'll prepared regarding New Policies.

--> PM Modi has accepted this new policy and plans himself on Wednesday 28 July, 2020 Morning. The cabinet for New Education Policy was chaired by PM Modi; and he approved the proposal of this policies. The Union Cabinet is ready to change the name of Ministry of Human Resource and Development to Ministry of Education. The Government of India is planning to Empower and is ready to give its students the quality education. Since a very long time, the country was waiting for some changes regarding the Education, and the Government is believing that these new policies will be able to make students knowledgeable and skill proof!
