The key companies were the Pune, Maharashtra's Serum Institute of India. Along with the reserve vaccine company Bharat Biotech.

The AstraZeneca and Oxford's vaccine is made by the Serum Institute of India; which was named as Covishield. The Bharat Biotech has made a vaccine which is named as Covaxin. Vaccine of both of the company has almost same efficacy. But, what should you keep in mind if you are being vaccinated tomorrow?

1. Firstly, both of the Vaccines have same efficacy against the dieses.
2. Pregnant or Lactating mothers are requested to not take a part in the Vaccination drive. 
3. People who are already infected, after 14 days of acute infection a person will provided a vaccine in accordance to the antibodies generated in his or her body.

Can You Ask That Which Company's Vaccine You Are Being Provided?

Well, definitely yes!

Doctors and researchers have advised to ask the vaccinator about the vaccine details. One will not have any rights to change the vaccine brand as per the government guidelines. As we have to take multiple doses of vaccine, we must ask the vaccinator that whether it is Covishield or Covaxin. It is necessary to stick on the one company.

As stated, In India we have two vaccines in which both of them have the equal efficacy. But talking about the Covaxin, after the Phase III we are not aware of the absolute effectiveness. As, the trails are still under process (As of 21st January, 2021). The scientist have assumed that the vaccine may have 60-70% efficacy.

The government and the health care workers will assure the guidelines to take a vaccine. People do not need to ask any specific questions except the brand name.

The vaccinators will tell about precautions and necessary steps which should be taken after being vaccinated. Which may include to avoid alcohol and routine check up. The candidate will measured for 30 minutes.

What To Do After Being Vaccinated?

The vaccine will help you to fight against the virus. You may also suffer from minor side effects which may last for few days. These are the normal signs and tells you that your body is building protection to safeguard you from the virus. Also, it may effect your ability to do daily work. There is no need to panic.

Side Effects of Coronavirus Vaccine

1. You may feel minor pain.
2. Swelling
3. Fever (Throughout the body)
4. Chills
5. Tiredness
6. Headache
7. Little bit discomfort 

Side effects are feel like a flu. They may also affect to your daily routine, but after few days you will back to normalcy. Most coronavirus vaccine need 2 shots. But it may also vary person to person. The healthcare provider will tell you whether you need a second shot or not. 

Remember, your body takes a time to fight and build protection against the virus.  

What You Must Do After Being Vaccinated?

If you think that side effects are increasing, you must talk to a doctor about the condition or what you feel. Do not take any medicine or pill on your own or via google search. Ask doctor if you want any counter medicine. 

If you feel pain where you got shot, you can apply cool washcloth near that area. You may also exercise some. The most common advise could be to drink plenty of fluids. 

If you think that the side effects or redness and tenderness are being increased after 24 hours, contact your doctor or healthcare provider.
