Have You Ever Wondered About Disabled Cadets, They Need our Support and Attention.

The soldiers who are serving a nation on a border are playing a major role to safeguard us. To become a part of the great Indian Armed Forces, you have to pass through the tough training and learning. The cadets come from the various parts of the nation. In India, we have a lot of academies for military training.

The IMA (Indian Military Academy),  NDA (National Defense Academy), OTA (Officers Training Academy), AFA (Air Force Academy) are the well known to us.

But, whenever a cadet from these academies gets seriously injured and become a disabled cadet, then a cadet has to leave the academy because he/she is not medically fit anymore. Also, they do not even get any medical help or disability pension and not even a criteria of ex-officer, ex-serviceman or ex-army personnel from the government.

So, these cadets have to live their life on their on with a support of ventilator, wheel chair or on a bed. Most commonly, the cadets belongs to the middle class families. Also, if these type of incident happens then these families have to bear the medical expenses of their son/daughter.

OPINION

The disabled cadets must get the necessary facilities and financial support for their entire life from the Government of India. The Ministry of Defense should work on this matter. The cadets must be provided a badge of ex-service personnel as they were went through the tough physical and mental training phase.

In India, we have a law which promises to give pension, medical treatment and a moral support from the Government of India to the officers who are being injured on duty. But for the Officer Cadets there is no such laws to ensure a life for the disabled cadets.

As per the government reports, the disabled cadets are not getting these facilities and treatments because they are not on duty or an on duty officer.

As a citizen, we request to the government to provide these disabled cadets a financial as well as moral support. So that can reduce the economic pressure from their families.

A HOPE FOR A HELP!

Mr. Ankur Chaturvedi is an ex-cadet who got rejected because of the injury. Later on, he hardworked and is now a successful personality.

He has been trying for so long for these disabled cadets that they may get some relief from the government.

Mrs. Neetu Chandra Srivastava is the 1st bollywood celebrity who came forward to help the disabled cadets and said that they must get a second chance in their life.
