What Is The Real Issue With The Chinese Apps, Reason Behind Banning The Chinese Apps. A Diplomatic Written Banality.

Whenever we talk about the baleful applications in our smartphones, the only name comes up in our mind is the Chinese Apps. Chinese applications are not considered safe, in terms of the Data security and privacy policy protocols. There are such countries like the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Germany, Europian Countries, etc; where the Data security and privacy of their people are being considered as a matter of public safety.

Why This Article

The thought behind writing this article is very legitimate. This year, the U.S. Government has decided to ban all the Huawei Technologies and Zte Corporation  products from the country. Which includes smartphones, Wi-Fi routers and Data facilities.

"These companies are dangerous to our national security and to our privacy. Huawei and ZTE are nothing more an extension of the Chinese Communist Party."  - Tom Cotton (U.S. Senator | R-Arkansas)

According to the reports, Huawei and ZTE were sending the Data of the U.S. people to the China. Aftermath, US didn't give any specific reason for banning these items, but the highlight was about the Data Protection for the U.S. citizens.

Similarly in India, the Government has banned a lot of Chinese Apps and the reason is almost similar, the Data Protection. Although, Chinese companies were not assuring the laws of India and allowing their own laws and we're working accordingly.

India and the U.S. doesn't have any specific reasons, but these are the allegations and a precautionary measures for the public safety.

The Real Issues With Chinese Apps

China has the National Intelligence Law, which was passed in 2017. The apps which were banned by Indian government comes under this law. According to this law, every Chinese companies have to share the data of thier customer to the Government of China, whenever the govt. requires. Also, this law suggests that every data of any country's citizens which is available in Chinese companies, will be used by the Government also. The reason behind this rule is being predicted that if the Government of China wants to hack neighborhood country's data, it will be easier for them.

But How This Law is Baseless and Weird!

In China, there are no such rules to protect and secure the Data. Although, Chinese rules do not punish the Data Culprits or Companies. The government itself misuses the Data.

In the U.S. there is a law and according to it, if any IT Companies breaks the law or if the Data of it's people gets leaked, the CEOs of that particular companies have to take a responsibility for it and the CEOs have to justify their fault in the senate or in a court room.

For example, recently in the U.S. the most powerful Tech Companies and their CEOs had to justify their points before Congress about the tech antitrust hearing, which includes Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, Apple's Tim Cook and Google's Sundar Pichai.

Currently, India is also making the strict rules and regulations in terms of Data security and privacy. The Government of India has also benned Chinese apps in a row of 59 + 47 + 118. Aftermath, China is facing a lot of financial crises and a fall in Chinese economy has been seen.
