Ever imagined, everything you need will be available only in the distance of 15 Minutes? If not you'll find it in Paris. According to the reports, Paris is workings on a project in which it's citizen will be able to buy everything they want in just a 15 Minutes distance.

Paris is the Capital European city of France. Paris is a global centre for Art, Fashion, Gastronomy and the Culture. With the population of 21.5 Lakhs, it is the most popular and famous city in the world. According to the France administration, Anne Hidalgo is a Mayor of Paris. 

Saving Environment By Creativity

Paris is planning to becoming a city, where everything you need is available within a 15 Minutes radius on foot or bike.

According to the reports, Paris is planning this project to avoid the use of cars and other utility vehicles so that the emission of CO2 may decrease. They are planning to provide citizens a clean and healthy air.

According to the Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, lanes and streets will have a separate bicycle track/lane by 2024. Later on, he proposed to reduce around 60K on-street parking spots (a slot for parking), which will be helpful to avoid Crowd and vehicle traffics. These on-street parking spots will be converted into the green space and will allotted for making playgrounds. 

Did you know, Paris has banned the use of Cars on a Sunday or a once in month and along the river Seine. During a lockdown period, Paris has created at least 50 KMs of lane for bicycles. 

A 15 Minutes City Project

In the 15 Minutes City  project, buildings will be used for multiple purposes. Schools will be able to host the most different activities every weekend, i.e. Nurturing The Local Pride. 

Many cities are rethinking about the designing of local areas of cities. During the pandemic people are getting closer to the local areas or nearer places. 

Not only Paris but Melbourne has also tried to develop a 20 Minutes neighborhoods. According to these cities, empowering the local areas will be more beneficial and will help to boost the Economy of the Country.

The developer of the 15 Minutes City is Professor Carlos Moreno. According to him, to developing the local areas is not only about the Buildings and Innovations; it is also about the Social Networks.
