Space Research is an amazing thing which admires many people on this planet Earth. ISRO is Developing its space research ability in terms of Rocket Launchers and Sustainable Development. According to ISRO, it has so many projects in future like for Moon Mission and Mars Mission.

Importance of Research and Exploration

Human space researches helps to know the fundamental questions and queries about our place in the Universe and the history of our solar system. Through addressing the challenges related to human space exploration or researches we have expanded technology, create new industries, and have helped to foster a peaceful connection with other nations through these.

Manned space exploration is absolutely worth the investment. It's not just about what we learn out there in space, or about ourselves, or how to be a better steward of precious Earth. It's about how we live here on Earth together and what type of future we want for ourselves and children.

Indian Schoolgirls Found An Asteroid

Recently, two Indian Schoolgirls have discovered an Asteroid bound for Earth. They from Surat, Gujarat. The teenagers were scouring telescope images for a school project. According to these two girls, they were doing their Space Research in June Month and they found something spectacular.

They found an Asteroid and they Named it as HLV2514. Although, until NASA don't christened this research, it won't be confirmed.

In Talks with Vaidehi Vekariya (Researcher of HLV2514)

She said to the World Economic Forum that the special thing about this discovery is that while many citizen scientists discovered many Asteroids, this one is bound towards Earth and is currently orbiting Mars. It might be headed to Earth's Influence in the next 1 Million (10 Lakh) Years.  It can orbit, just like a moon. It can also collide with the planet

These two intelligent girls were working on an Asteroid-Search campaign which is set up by SPACE INDIA and a NASA Affiliate Citizen Science Group. These both want to be an Astronauts in future.

Global Participation of Girls and Women

Globally, Girls and Women are Underrepresented in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).  A mere 3% of the World's ICT (Information and Communication Technology) students are Women.

GENDER GAP

Since 1903, only 19 Women have won a Nobel Prize in subjects like Chemistry, Medicine and Physics. Meanwhile there are 572 Male Winners. 15% Women are Engineering Professionals

The UN and other similar agencies are trying to minimize the Gender Gap ratio in terms of ICT and STEM
