If we talk about schooling, 87% of schools were using e-solutions before the pandemic. College faculties and School teachers are well trained; in matter of online education. Also students have been taught to learn from e-sources and also education system is providing all kind of training for E-Schooling or E-learning.
Estonia topped European Education Ranking in 2018, with the help of Digital Prowess.
However, to take online exams wasn't that harder for Estonia, they were all prepared; they were used to it.

While creating history, 44% of Estonian people casting their votes using their Smartphones and PCs. Thus, Estonia has their e-voters.
All Estonian people can get a digital identity and signature.
Public Internet Facilities
Government is providing well and fully functioning Internet facilities. Estonian people can get Internet and WiFi networks everywhere in Estonia.
Estonian people have to give a specific charge to their personal Internet connection, but Public Wi-Fi facility is almost free here.
Smart Hospitals
In 2007, Estonian Government decided to digitalize their hospitals and Health care centers.
Hospitals and Health care centers made their prescription and health records fully digital.
State Services
99% of state services are online and they do not have any on paper records.
Thus, when lockdown was imposed in March and other countries struggled to move online, Estonia carried on seamlessly.

ReplyDeleteThere are few things like lack of education, lack of electricity, lack of internet connection in suburban as well as in rural areas. Also, people in India aren't much connected to the new way of technology. It also needs much investment. Slowly but India will soon operate like this.
